2019-06-06 03:00:00
The June edition of Aerospace Manufacturing Magazine features a review of Pryor's Aerospace Rotatives Robotic Marking Cell
Visitors to Internatonal Paris Air Show can see this new application of Dot Peen, robotics, vision system and manufacturing software, in action in Hall 2b, stand H111.
The Aerospace Rotatives Robotic Marking Cell demonstrates how to use Dot Peen to meet industry specifications such as AS9132 or RRES9000.
The technology automates the application of a unique Dot Peen identification mark on large aerospace components.
With a horizontal rotational axis, the system is ideal for direct part marking of large rotative aero engine components, which often need permanent traceability on multiple, difficult to access marking locations.
